55100 EmergencyAlerts™ App is currently available for Android phone users. It will soon be available on iOS and Windows as well.
However, if you do not have an Android phone, you can always subscribe to the EmergencyAlerts™ service. All you need to do is dial 55100 from your Airtel or Vodafone mobile numbers.
You only require internet for sending alerts via email. All other service functionalities do not require internet access.
However, in the absence of internet, you might receive some encoded service messages used for communication by the App. These messages will not cause any harm to your phone. You can safely delete them.
Managing your 55100 EmergencyAlerts™ App account is very easy and convenient. You can manage your account and App feature settings from a single menu on the home-screen by tapping on the STATUS icon.
Go to the settings menu and tap the Add Friends icon.
Your family and friends will automatically be added to your group. They will receive an SMS on their mobile phone confirming that they have been added to your group.
Go to the settings menu and tap the Manage Friends icon. You will see a list of selected contacts, just uncheck them and tap the save icon to delete them from your group.
Yes, they can remove themselves anytime: By sending an SMS: NO <Your mobile number> to 8527355100 if you are an Airtel user and by sending an SMS: NO <Your mobile number> to 7567855100 if you are a Vodafone user.
They can also permanently block you from adding them to your group: By sending an SMS: BLOCK ON <Your mobile number> to 8527355100 if you are an Airtel user and by sending an SMS: BLOCK ON <Your mobile number> to 7567855100 if you are a Vodafone user.

The tracking feature sends your updated location to your family and friends in an emergency. When the tracking feature is ON, and you trigger an emergency alert, your loved ones will receive automatic LOCATION UPDATES at configurable intervals.
The tracking feature is currently only available with Emergency-Alerts™.
Enable/disable tracking from the single menu on the home-screen by tapping the Status icon or go to the settings menu and tap on the Configure Tracking icon. Just tap the checkbox to enable/disable tracking followed by a tap on the save icon.
Go to the settings menu and tap on the Manage Friends icon. You will see a list of selected contacts; they are your group members.
Go to the settings menu and tap on the My Account icon. You will see your subscription plan on this screen with an option to deactivate at the bottom. Tap the deactivate button and confirm your request to deactivate.
Go to the settings menu and tap on the Edit Name icon. Just type the new name and tap on the save icon to change your name.

Your Pre-Paid account did not have Rs. 30 balance at the time you tried to activate the service. Thus, fallback prices were applied and charged.

55100 EmergencyAlerts™ is made for all users. You don't need to use SMS's in order to operate 55100 EmergencyAlerts™. You can easily subscribe to the service, trigger alerts and manage your account by dialing 55100.
IVR: Dial 55100, follow the instructions and enter the numbers of your family and friends one by one. Or,
